Update and New Position!

Hello loyal readers,

I have a few updates I wanted to share. I won't be posting anything today because I recently got a position  writing for RPGamer.com! I've been doing paperwork and training for them. Hopefully in the next week or so I'll be posting for them. I will continue to write here as well but today was a little busy and I started a little too late in the day.

I'm also considering doing this in video format to spice things up (not to mention monetize a little bit :P). Let me know what you think of that! Also look for a new review this week at some point as well. Possibly the new God of War: Ghost of Sparta or Batman: Arkham Asylum. Trying to break the mold and do something besides RPGs. Thanks for reading as always. Later Gamers!

Vaan the latest Dissia Duodecim character announced

Among the latest characters announced for the new Dissidia game is Final Fantasy XII's Vaan. He joins the cast along FF7's Tifa and FF13's Lightning. Of all the possible characters that could have been chosen Vaan does seem like a questionable addition.

Vaan ranks down there with the most hated characters such as Tidus. Basch would have been a more suitable choice, or hell even Caith Sith would have at least been fun to laugh at. One good things about adding Vaan though....gamers will have the chance to beat him to death!

This makes Black Ops the best selling entertainment launch in history, video game or otherwise.

Black Ops comes loaded with content as this years Call of Duty game. It includes: An 8-10 hour campaign, robust online options, robust multi-player options, as well as a top down shooter mini game (which could probably sell for $10 on its own). Call of Duty: Future Warfare?

Fans who have long awaited a future-themed Call of Duty game may need to start thanking the gaming gods. Your prayers may finally have been answered. Based on recent domain name registrations by Activision one of the following might be the name of the 2011 Call of Duty game: "Future Warfare", "Space Warfare", "Secret Warfare", "Advanced Warfare".

Rumor has it the next CoD game will include Space Marines and be set in the distant future. What else could possibly be in store? Space Combat? Aliens? Mechs? Only time will tell what's ahead for this series as it takes a leap into the final frontier.

New SSX Possibly on the Horizon

It's been quite some time since gamers have hand a new SSX game to pull off 1080 stalefishes with, approximatively 3 years to be exact. Fans of the series should start dusting off their boards because a new SSX game is possibly in the works.

EA has recently registered the following domain names: "SSX First Decent" and "SSX Deadly Decent." EA has made no announcement in any detail about the new title(s) but it's always fun to speculate! Let's hope the domain
 names =  new snowboarding action.

New Playstation Home Features Leaked

A number of images were leaked from the beta testing for the PS3 virtual world, Home. The 1.4 Home update leak appears to have a number of new features that are going to be available. An apparent one is a new PDA system that will allow users to modify their avatars features (clothing, accessories, etc) and navigate through menus quicker than before. There also appears to be a new status feature that may appear on a friends list that will tell people their current mood (and possibly avatar facial features to match the mood?). One last leaked feature is the availability to purchase a lizard pet, which seems to roam around on it's own.

Sony made a statement about the new update this past weekend only saying that the update will include improved voice chat and wardrobe features. Obviously more than that is in store for the update.

Sony did make a statement about the update saying it will have an "enormous impact on users and developers alike." No official release date has be announced.
